SIMETRIA opens for business in Bogotá, Colombia, on 5 June 1996 to cater for the growing local and international markets of promotional material and merchandising for the advertising industry.

Soon after, in its quest for fresh ideas, excellent quality and brand new markets, the company focuses production exclusively on its magnetic lines, supplying innovative products for a far-reaching range of applications in advertising.

In 2002, the company moves its plant and head-office to Sabaneta, a town located within the metropolitan area of Medellín, Colombia’s industrial hub and second largest city. SIMETRIA keeps its Bogotá branch and starts reaching out for new markets in Colombia and neighboring countries.
